I've been tagged!

I have been TAGGED! Thanks so so much Emma! So now I am obliged by the unwritten blogger code of ethics to disclose all these weird and wonderful facts about myself, no matter how embarrassed I might be! The only bonus I see is that I get to TAG someone else at the conclusion of my public humiliation session!

So here are my 5 Weird and Wonderful facts!

FACT ONE: I am twin. My twin brother and I were born two days after my eldest brothers 20th birthday, and I am the youngest one of eight children. Even weirder, my next closest sibling is 13 years older than me, and she has 5 children, four of whom are twins! She has 5 children under 5 years old… Oh, my grandmothers are both twins! My extra large family loves TWINS!

FACT TWO:This fact is related to the last fact, but deserves a special fact of it’s own! All of my brother’s and sisters we all have French names… we are not even French! The names are: Dionne; Andre; Odette; Marcelle; Bridget; Yves; Jeanette; Michel.

The most wonderful fact is that, when my twin brother and I were born, my mother said to my father, I am tired of naming our children, you name them. So dear father in his 70’s wisdom, decided that Andre and Dionne was perfect… you see our last name starts with a “C”…. father had named us after his favourite band of the time….AC/DC!

FACT THREE: I graduated from university over 9 years ago with a Bachelor of Social Work. I have worked as a social worker doing everything from youth work, to disability services, domestic violence, child protection and aged care over the last 9 years, in 3 different countries. The weirder fact is that last year I had a serious breakdown, and suffered major depression because of the stress of my job. So I left my highly stressful job as a Senior Social Worker at a Hospital, and NOW… I work for my fiancé and Father-in-law to be. They own a timber yard… yep, I sell timber for a living! I do the accounts, answer the phone all that stuff, but I deliver, sell and lift timber sleepers and koppers logs everyday!

FACT FOUR: I have a shoe fetish…. I over the past 12 months have curbed my addiction… I am not allowed to go shopping on my own! I have only bought 6 pairs of shoes in the last 12 months. I have no idea how many pairs I own now, because I gave quiet a few pairs away to friends and family and Vinnies. Last year before I was put on a shoe-aholic-program by fiancé, I had over 100 pairs in my cupboard… actually maybe more???

FACT FIVE: The least said about the next the better… except to say I am working on changing this one, and cross fingers it works! (WW please help me!) My current bra size is a 16 I . Yep that’s like the 3rd vowel of the alphabet!
