Weigh In

I had a loss of 700 grams this week. I am a little surprised, but happy all the same. 9.5kgs realeased to the baby whales and 500 grams to 10kgs and 10%! Yeah yeah yeah! 1 week to my wedding dress fitting and all along my goal was that I wanted to be an 80's girl by then. Another 700 grams to go! I tell you what, I will be hitting the gym hard this week!

I again have had a hectic week, and hopefully I can try and slow down in the next few days.... I think I need to relax a little. Might hibernate on the weekend...hide from the world and sneak into bed with a good book.....

Again, I see that there have been some great losses by you girls this week, and a couple of hiccups... Have a fabulous week.. and I will see you all soon.

Wedding Stress

58 days until the wedding and I thought it was all under control! Why didn't anyone tell me that the few months of nothing to do ends and you have a flurry of things to do around about now! Not to mention, all these months and months of planning, and you thought that everything was so smooth, and why do people complain its stressful! Well haven't I learnt some lessons in the last few weeks! Arguments with in laws, bridesmaids, guests.....seriously people forget who is getting married! Why stress the bride out... I have planned every morsel so far, and when it comes to the crunch they tell me they aren't happy... I ASKED FOR HELP BEFORE AND YOU DIDN:T COME TO THE PARTY, and now you want to have your say and argue with me!

Yes I am over it, and can't wait til the honeymoon.. All this stress will be over then!

WW update, I have been finding it difficult to get on the boards and chat to my lovely friends, but have been sticking reasonably well to my points and exercise. I lost 300 grams this week, so 8.8kgs in 10 weeks makes me happy. So close to an 80's girl and 10%. My next dress fitting is on April 2nd (thankfully they would have only made some of the dress and just the lining by then, cause my last fitting was the week I started WW!). I would love to be an 80's girl by the next fitting!

Enough of my ramblings... hope everyone is having a good time at the moment, and you are having great releases! A new baby whale is born every week!

Jumping Bilby!

I went shopping tonight and this bilby jumped into my hand... I tried to put him back, and he jumped in again! So I have brought him home with me, because I think he was scared and hungry... so I have put him in my fridge so he can eat what ever he likes... I'll check in the morning to see if he is ok, and he might have even put some weight on! Ohh and big fat chocolate bilby in my fridge!!!!!

It's working!

Weigh day today... and lost 1.5kgs. That's the biggest loss I have had since week one. 9 weeks gone and 8.5 Kgs..... 10% and the 80's here I come!

I think there is something to be said for my blurgh week last week.. (It worked some how Em's!). I think it's all clicking well, and becoming easy easy easy!! I increased my healthy snacking two weeks in a row, and stayed in points so am sure my metabolism has gotten better... Oh and going over points by 5-10 on Saturday night and staying in points for the week... is working amazingly... I love the Wendie Plan!

New Clothes

Well 8 1/2 weeks in, and unnofficially 8 kgs down (sneaking a look at the scales for the last three days says over 8 kgs lost!), my clothes are getting loose! When I started on 9th January 07, I was struggling to do my size 18 clothes up, and had snuck a few size 20's in the wardrobe... Today I went shopping and grabbed my fear, and a size 16 off the rack, and well here we are with a new pair of SIZE 16 shorts on! Yeeaaahhhhh Yeaahhhh!

I have been TAGGED! Thanks so so much Emma! So now I am obliged by the unwritten blogger code of ethics to disclose all these weird and wonderful facts about myself, no matter how embarrassed I might be! The only bonus I see is that I get to TAG someone else at the conclusion of my public humiliation session!

So here are my 5 Weird and Wonderful facts!

FACT ONE: I am twin. My twin brother and I were born two days after my eldest brothers 20th birthday, and I am the youngest one of eight children. Even weirder, my next closest sibling is 13 years older than me, and she has 5 children, four of whom are twins! She has 5 children under 5 years old… Oh, my grandmothers are both twins! My extra large family loves TWINS!

FACT TWO:This fact is related to the last fact, but deserves a special fact of it’s own! All of my brother’s and sisters we all have French names… we are not even French! The names are: Dionne; Andre; Odette; Marcelle; Bridget; Yves; Jeanette; Michel.

The most wonderful fact is that, when my twin brother and I were born, my mother said to my father, I am tired of naming our children, you name them. So dear father in his 70’s wisdom, decided that Andre and Dionne was perfect… you see our last name starts with a “C”…. father had named us after his favourite band of the time….AC/DC!

FACT THREE: I graduated from university over 9 years ago with a Bachelor of Social Work. I have worked as a social worker doing everything from youth work, to disability services, domestic violence, child protection and aged care over the last 9 years, in 3 different countries. The weirder fact is that last year I had a serious breakdown, and suffered major depression because of the stress of my job. So I left my highly stressful job as a Senior Social Worker at a Hospital, and NOW… I work for my fiancé and Father-in-law to be. They own a timber yard… yep, I sell timber for a living! I do the accounts, answer the phone all that stuff, but I deliver, sell and lift timber sleepers and koppers logs everyday!

FACT FOUR: I have a shoe fetish…. I over the past 12 months have curbed my addiction… I am not allowed to go shopping on my own! I have only bought 6 pairs of shoes in the last 12 months. I have no idea how many pairs I own now, because I gave quiet a few pairs away to friends and family and Vinnies. Last year before I was put on a shoe-aholic-program by fiancé, I had over 100 pairs in my cupboard… actually maybe more???

FACT FIVE: The least said about the next the better… except to say I am working on changing this one, and cross fingers it works! (WW please help me!) My current bra size is a 16 I . Yep that’s like the 3rd vowel of the alphabet!
